Meet Our Founder

Sarah Hill was given the first piece of what would become Behind the Door Ministries when she was only ten years old. Since then, God has radically transformed her view of this ministry just as he has transformed her. Through that process, she has discovered what it means to walk boldly and freely in hand with Christ, living audaciously on mission.

Sarah has a Bachelor's Degree in Biblical & Theological studies from The King's University and is currently pursuing a Master of Theological Studies with a concentration in Church History. In addition, she has fourteen years of hands-on ministry experience. Her heart is for every person who encounters Behind the Door Ministries to experience the love and safety of healthy ministry, paired with the powerful and transformative presence of the Holy Spirit.

Only by walking through the depths of life can you understand the grip of pain and darkness. Starting ministry work at a young age exposed Sarah to countless valleys, strongholds, and traumas that people face every day and equipped her on how to find healing and freedom from the most agonizing of chains. It gave her a newfound understanding of how deeply we all need freedom and healing. It also sharpened her spiritual armor, spiritual gifts, and overall wisdom. However, it was when she faced her own valleys that her true passion was born. Healing, freedom, and sanctification are a lifelong journey. Sarah's heart is to help others encounter true freedom in Christ along the ride.
